Washington Hunter Education Policy
Washington requires hunter education for all hunters born on or after January 1, 1972. The state also offers a one-year Hunter Education Deferral Program for qualifying first-time hunters โ allowing one season of supervised hunting before completing the course.

Save your license digitally and carry field documentation
Most Washington game wardens accept digital licenses. Print a backup copy as well.
